The Boeing 787-8 operating Air India Flight AI 132 was withdrawn from service and grounded as a precautionary measure. The aircraft landed safely, and no in-flight emergency was reported.
The aircraft involved, Boeing 787-8 registration VT-ANX, is reported to have undergone the following heavy maintenance visits (HMVs) prior to the present occurrence:
– Mumbai: 08 January 2025 to 13 March 2025
– Singapore: 09 September 2025 to 18 October 2025
