Air Greenland was established in 1960 as Grønlandsfly to provide air transport services within Greenland. Initially operating with small aircraft and helicopters, the airline expanded as Greenland’s infrastructure developed. In 2002, the company rebranded as Air Greenland. Over the years, it has played a crucial role in connecting Greenland’s remote communities and maintaining essential services. Today, it operates both domestic and international routes, including flights to Denmark.

Club Timmisa is Air Greenland’s frequent flyer program, designed to reward loyal passengers with a range of benefits and exclusive services. It has two main membership levels, Silver and Gold, which offer increasing benefits as members accrue more points (based on miles flown).
Benefits include Frequent Flyer Miles in which embers earn miles for each flight, which can be redeemed for rewards like free flights, upgrades, and other travel perks. Higher-tier members (Gold) enjoy priority check-in at airports. Members can receive extra baggage allowance on flights. Gold members may have access to lounges at select airports.
As Air Greenland is a partner of SAS, members can also accumulate and redeem points on SAS flights within the broader EuroBonus program.

Air Greenland does not have dedicated lounges but offers access to partner lounges for premium passengers on international routes. Premium and Premium Flex passengers can access Carlsberg Aviator Lounge and Aspire Lounge at Copenhagen Airport.
