Air Macau was established in 1994 as the flag carrier of Macau, replacing previous regional air services. It launched commercial operations in 1995 and has since focused on connecting Macau with key cities in Greater China and other destinations in Asia. The airline has been majority-owned by Air China since 2017, strengthening its role as a regional carrier aligned with Chinaโs aviation network.

Air Macau’s route network focuses mainly on destinations within Asia, particularly in Mainland China, Southeast Asia, and Greater China regions.
On mainland China, Air Macau operates flights to such cities as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Chengdu. Other Asian destinations include Hong Kong, Taipei and Kaohsiung in Taiwan, Bangkok, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore as well as Tokyo and Seoul.

Air Macau VIP Lounge is located at Macau International Airport (MFM). It serves passengers flying on Air Macau and other eligible travelers.
The lounge is primarily available to business class passengers, premium members of the PhoenixMiles program (Air Chinaโs loyalty program), and passengers holding elite status or lounge membership with Air China and affiliated airlines. It may also be accessible through lounge programs like Priority Pass, depending on the travelerโs status or credit card benefits.
Comfortable seating, snacks, hot meals and drink are offered free of charge. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available for passengers to stay connected.
