Condor Airlines was established in 1955 as Deutsche Flugdienst GmbH, initially focusing on charter flights for German holidaymakers. Renamed “Condor Flugdienst GmbH” in 1961, it became a pioneer in the leisure travel market, offering flights to popular vacation destinations across Europe and beyond. Over the years, Condor expanded its operations to include long-haul routes to the Americas, Africa, and Asia. The airline has undergone several ownership changes and restructuring, most recently establishing itself as an independent carrier with a focus on leisure travel.

Condor Airlines does not operate their own loyalty program but offer passengers the opportunity to benefit from Alaska Mileage Plan and Emirates Skywards programs.

Travellers on Condor Airlines have access to numerous lounges in Germany, Europe and worldwide for an additional fee. Those passengers who have paid the additional cost can access lounges up to three hours prior to their flight. Available are free drinks, snacks, reading material, free wifi and other entertainment facilities.
