History

EVA Air was established in 1989 as the second international airline in Taiwan, a subsidiary of the Evergreen Group, which also operates Evergreen Marine Corporation, a major global shipping company. EVA Air commenced operations in 1991 with a focus on delivering premium services and international connectivity. The airline quickly gained a reputation for its innovative services, including the introduction of Premium Economy Class in 1992. EVA Air joined the Star Alliance in 2013, further enhancing its global reach. Today, it is recognized as one of the world’s leading airlines for service quality and operational excellence.

Loyalty Program

EVA Air operates Infinity MileageLands, its frequent flyer program. Miles can be earned on EVA Air, Star Alliance partner airlines, and through non-airline partners such as hotels and car rentals. Lounges

EVA Air operates premium lounges at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport and provides access to partner lounges worldwide. At Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, there are four lounges: The Infinity Lounge, The Garden, The Club & The Star Lounge. These are exclusively for Business and Premium Economy Class passengers, as well as Infinity MileageLands elite members. They provide gourmet dining, comfortable seating, and high-speed Wi-Fi as well as relaxation areas, business facilities, and shower amenities. Lounges are also operated by EVA Air at Kaohsiung International Airport and Bangkok Airport.
