History

flydubai was established in March 2008 by the Government of Dubai to provide low-cost air travel while complementing Emirates’ operations. The airline commenced operations in June 2009 with its first flight to Beirut, Lebanon. Over the years, flydubai has expanded rapidly, becoming a key player in the Middle East aviation market and beyond. Loyalty Program

flydubai participates in the Emirates Skywards loyalty program. Passengers can earn Skywards Miles on flydubai and Emirates flights. Miles can be used for flight tickets, upgrades, and other rewards. Lounges

Business Class passengers and eligible Skywards members have access to flydubai’s dedicated lounge at Dubai International Airport Terminal 2. Complimentary meals and beverages are available as well as comfortable seating and business facilities and high-speed Wi-Fi and relaxation areas.

Passengers traveling through Terminal 3 with Emirates can access Emirates Lounges under the codeshare agreement.
