easyJet will launch 16 new routes from eight UK airports for summer 2026, as the airline continues to expand its network and strengthen its presence across the country. Seats are now on sale.
The carrier is pushing further into sub-Saharan Africa with a new Bristol–Sal service, becoming the airline’s third UK route to Cape Verde alongside existing flights from London Gatwick and Manchester. The Bristol flights will begin on 1 May 2026, operating three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Bristol Airport is one of the biggest winners in the announcement. In addition to Sal, easyJet will introduce flights to Bari from 18 April 2026 and to Seville from 2 May 2026. Both new European routes will run twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Birmingham will gain new connections to Inverness from 30 March 2026 and to Nice from 1 May 2026. Each route will also operate twice weekly, giving travellers more direct domestic and international options.
From Manchester, easyJet will add services to Montpellier from 30 March 2026 and to Preveza from 24 June 2026, while Liverpool will see new flights to Lisbon from 31 March 2026 and Paphos from 2 August 2026.
The airline’s newest base at London Southend will launch flights to Jersey on 30 March 2026, meaning easyJet will serve the Channel Island from eight UK airports. London Stansted will gain a new link to Paris Charles de Gaulle starting 5 March 2026.
Newcastle will also benefit from the expansion, with flights to Tenerife beginning on 1 August 2026. The route will become part of a 20-strong network from the airport, where easyJet plans to open a three-aircraft base next spring.
Scotland features heavily in the growth plans. Four new routes will launch from Glasgow next summer: Lisbon from 29 March 2026, Pisa and Sharm El Sheikh from 1 August 2026, and Malta from 4 August 2026. The additions bolster what the airline calls a fast-growing Scottish network, with a mix of city-break and sun-holiday destinations.
easyJet holidays will offer package holidays across all international routes, including flights, accommodation and the company’s “Ultimate Flexibility” booking policy.
Kevin Doyle, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, said the expansion reflects the airline’s ongoing commitment to affordability and convenience.
“In our 30th year, we’re still as committed as ever to making travel easy and affordable for our customers in the UK, where around 50 million will choose to fly with us this year,” he said. “With 16 new routes across ten countries now available from eight UK airports next summer… we’re providing our customers with even more choice and connectivity at fantastic fares.”
easyJet currently serves 22 UK airports and operates more than 630 routes to 140 destinations.
