Electrical Fire Closes Heathrow Airport For 24 Hours

An electrical fire at a substation in Hayes has forced the closure of the world’s second busiest international airport – Heathrow – for 24 hours.

The airport handles 1300 flights at day carrying 250,000 passengers.
