Emirates is expanding its London Heathrow schedule with six additional weekly flights starting 26 October 2025, boosting capacity during the busy winter travel season.
The move comes in response to strong demand on the flagship Dubai–London route. Emirates currently operates six daily Airbus A380 services to Heathrow, but the new flights will be flown by the airline’s Boeing 777-300ER, seating more than 350 passengers across First, Business and Economy classes. The extra frequencies will run every day except Friday, timed to offer both daytime departures and overnight return services.
According to the airline, the overnight departures from London will ensure smooth onward connections in Dubai to popular destinations including Durban, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Jakarta. Inbound travellers from South Asia, China and the Middle East are also expected to benefit, with schedules designed around connectivity from cities such as Ahmedabad, Lahore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Beijing, Shanghai, Bahrain, Dammam and Riyadh.
The additional flights will operate as EK41/42, with slightly varied timings across the week. Departures from Dubai are scheduled between 12:55hrs and 13:40hrs, while return flights from Heathrow will leave in the late evening, ensuring overnight travel into Dubai the following morning.
The Heathrow boost follows Emirates’ wider expansion across its London network. In February 2026, the airline will also launch a fourth daily Gatwick flight, operated by its new Airbus A350 fleet. By early next year, Emirates’ London services across Heathrow and Gatwick will total 90 weekly flights, rising to 146 weekly flights across the UK by February 2026, including services to Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
