A huge amount of data is missing in the search for MH370 according to UK aerospace engineer Richard Godfrey.
In a special interview on April 17, 2025, which we re-publish today, Mr Godfrey unveiled a range of missing data that includes military intelligence to individual eye witness accounts and:
- Radio, radar, satellite and mobile phone data.
- Aircraft sightings, ship sightings and debris finds
- Seismic, hydroacoustic, tsunami early warning system data.
- CCTV, emails, social media and home flight simulator data.
Mr Godfrey added that “there are currently 11,833 active satellites in Earth orbits. Back in 2014, MH370 was possibly detected by 742 satellites, including optical, infrared or radar imagery, from satellites designed for
communication, meteorology or specifically for military intelligence.”
He also said that the following is missing:
- Radar data, both military and civilian from Malaysia and the surrounding countries,
- Radio communications from other aircraft, ships and radio amateurs.
- AWACS aircraft Australia, India, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Singapore
- ACARS data from other flights of the aircraft 9M-MRO.
- Malaysian Airlines Engineering data for the aircraft 9M-MRO.
- FBI data on the home flight simulator, CCTV security video footage, mobile phone records, social
media data.
