Qantas has launched its biggest domestic airfare sale in more than five years, placing 1.9 million discounted Economy and Business Class seats on sale across its Australian network.

Economy one-way fares start from $99 on select routes, including Byron Bay to Sydney, for travel on selected dates between 14 October and 20 December 2026. Discounted Business Class fares are also included, with prices starting from $299 on the busy Melbourne–Sydney route.
The sale covers 60 destinations nationwide, spanning capital cities, regional centres and popular holiday locations. All fares include checked baggage and complimentary food and beverages, in line with Qantas’ standard domestic offering.
The sale opens at 12.01am (AEDT) on Tuesday 10 February 2026 and runs until 11.59pm (AEDT) on Monday 16 February 2026, unless sold out earlier. Travel is available on selected dates throughout 2026.
Markus Svensson said the promotion was designed to encourage Australians to travel domestically.

The airline said the discounted fares are available on selected flights and are subject to availability.
