Singapore Airlines Crowned 2024 International Airline of the Year – Again

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has once again soared above the competition, claiming the title of Roy Morgan’s 2024 International Airline of the Year — for an extraordinary fifth time — at the prestigious Customer Satisfaction Awards held in Melbourne last night.

The accolade, awarded annually by Roy Morgan Research, recognises Singapore Airlines as the top-rated international carrier for customer satisfaction among all airlines serving the Australian market. It cements SIA’s position not just as a global leader in aviation, but as the airline of choice for Australian travellers.

Mr Louis Arul, Singapore Airlines Regional Vice President for the South West Pacific, dedicated the win to the airline’s global team:

“This award is a testament to the relentless dedication of our people — from cabin crew to customer service teams across the world. For over 55 years, we’ve served Australian skies with one goal: delivering exceptional service, comfort, and safety. To be recognised for that commitment once again is a true honour.”

The 2024 win marks Singapore Airlines fifth overall victory — including consecutive wins in 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023, and now 2024 — highlighting the airline’s consistent excellence before and after the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Roy Morgan CEO Michele Levine praised SIA’s industry-leading performance:

“Singapore Airlines is not just winning — it’s dominating. In a fiercely competitive international market, they have emerged head-and-shoulders above the rest, delivering a level of customer satisfaction that is unmatched.”

In a year of standout achievements, SIA became the first airline to win all 12 monthly customer satisfaction awards in 2024, achieving an average customer satisfaction rating of 94.3%. That score places it among Australia’s 10 most trusted brands across all industries — an elite group Roy Morgan hails as the “Best of the Best.”

“Singapore Airlines didn’t just rebound post-pandemic — it redefined the gold standard,” Levine added. “Australians setting off on overseas adventures continue to choose SIA for a reason: consistent, world-class service that delivers every time.”
