History

Transavia France was established on November 14, 2006, as a joint venture between Air France and the Dutch airline Transavia. It commenced operations in May 2007, focusing on scheduled and charter flights to leisure destinations. Over the years, the airline expanded its network and fleet, becoming an integral part of the Air France-KLM Group’s low-cost operations. In 2015, Transavia France, along with its Dutch counterpart, underwent a rebranding, adopting a new corporate design and dropping the “.com” from its branding.
